Bill Bentley Fund
Bill Bentley Memorial Golf Tournament Fund
Since it's conception, the Bill Bentley Memorial Golf Tournament has raised over $250,000 to benefit the Lawrence and Memorial Community Cancer Center's Capital Campaign, and Temple Emanu-El Youth Services over ten years.
Utilizing the funds from the golf tournament, we want Temple Emanu-El families to be aware that they can augment their child's Jewish education and experience in a wide variety of ways. Some examples of how the fund has been used:
- Trips to Israel
- Jewish Learning Institutes
- Educational Trips
- Jewish Community Events
- Religious School Aides Funding
- Support to Israeli Emissaries
If your child has an interest in pursuing an aspect of Jewish learning or wants to participate in an enhanced Jewish experience; and if you need financial support to get there, here's how to start the process:
Write an e-mail to either Rabbi Rosenberg, the Office, Barbara or Scott Wolfe using the form at the bottom of the page. This e-mail should detail the event, the purpose, and the cost. The Rabbi, Barbara and Scott will then schedule a meeting with you to discuss your request. A Bentley Fund Request application form (found below) will be helpful to complete and send in to the Temple or attach to your e-mail.
We hope that this brief message clarifies how you can utilize this fund. Please feel free to write or call us if you have any further questions.
